Presenting my work in a unique interesting way creates oils in vibrant colors as well as unusual perspectives and textures. As a New Mexico artist, formally of dutch origin, the TAOS area inspires me to paint some of my best work. Contrast of light and dark, practiced by the Dutch masters, is what it is all about for me. Route 66 paintings are of particular interest, since I spent time in my youth on the mother road.
