Rod Goebel died in 1993 at the too-soon age of 47. Goebel was a master painter. He enjoyed sharing the process of accessing and accepting impulses through a series of workshops for painters that many Taos artists still remember as one of the most important events in their painting careers. Rod Goebel is collected by many throughout the country. He leaped fearlessly from romantic landscapes to impressionism, expressionism and abstraction. His body of work was dazzling.
Shriver Gallery and Brody & White Fine Art are representing the Goebel Collection for the Goebel family. We also accept Rod Goebel resales. We currentely have over 200 portraits done by Goebel in the late 1980's.
