Alexander Sarkis Abajian followed a delicate path to Taos. Born in New York and raised as he puts it, in the suitcase of two traveling stage actors. Alex has used his talents in the arts to survive. He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design's Glass Program. He is an instructor at the Taos Glass Arts and Education organization which was founded by famed glassblower Dale Chihuly.
The joy for Alex in working with glass is that it is the only material that holds light as you dance with it. He loves that it never stops moving, that the shapes can always change.
